New Saltmarsh Restoration and Monitoring Guidelines from New York

The New York State Department of State and Department of Environmental Conservation have jointly developed guidelines offering technical assistance to local governments, environmental organizations and others interested in developing and monitoring salt marsh restoration projects. The New York State Salt Marsh Restoration and Monitoring Guidelines responds to gaps in restoration science and management, and include a standard monitoring protocol to increase data collection, assist in project comparisons, and improve evaluation of restoration success.
