Saltmarsh restoration - UEA web site

Staff at the University of East Anglia (UEA - http://www.uea.ac.uk) together with the British Trust for Ornithology (http://www.bto.org/), carried out a review for English Nature of the success (or otherwise) of schemes to create or recreate intertidal habitats such as saltmarshes and mudflats. The final report "Restoration and Creation of Saltmarshes and Other Intertidal Habitats (Atkinson et al. 2001) can be downloaded from English Nature's web site (http://www.english-nature.org.uk/ ) as a three part document: key in the report number (425) under "Publications available from English Nature".

Comment: The UEA site also includes a bibliography of published material on saltmarsh restoration, and includes links to other web resources on saltmarsh restoration.
