Value - State 4, Excavated and/or disturbed shingle

The value of this state is generally seen as being negative for conservation, but positive for economic uses. The values are different depending on the depth to which the excavation/disturbance takes place. Where the void is filled with water, the loss of interest deriving from the shingle surface is total.
