A brief trawl of the web sites in Australia reveals little specifically on coastal habitat restoration. Two sites worth visiting for general information are:

  1. The Marine and Coastal Community Network (MCCN) @ http://www.mccn.org.au/;
  2. The Coastal Cooperative Research Centre (Coastal CRC) @ http://www.coastal.crc.org.au.

The second organisation is to develop guidelines for conservation of existing wetlands, creation of new wetlands and rehabilitation of damage wetlands. This will include restoration options, handbooks and techniques for wetland management.
