CIRIA - Coastal and Marine Environmental Site Guide
[Construction Industry Research and Information
Association - CIRIA]
This Environmental Site Guide provides practical advice for front-line supervisors,
managers and engineers working in the coastal and marine environment on how
to control impacts potentially arising from construction works. The Guide has
four chapters:
- Introduction;
- The Construction Site;
- Environmental Issues; and
- Construction Processes.
It is intended to be a reference book, a user-friendly guide and a training
aid. This report is accompanied by a poster and by a pocket book that present
key advice on operating in the coastal and marine environment.
The Guide reinforces and builds upon the principles relating to the control
of environmental impacts arising from construction practices developed in the
CIRIA 'Environmental
Good Practice on Site' Handbook (C502) and in other CIRIA publications.
Further details on the above and other CIRIA publications can be obtained
