1.

  Scrub removal and subsequent maintenance of scrub to benefit chalk grassland, stone-curlew, marsh fritillary and juniper.

2.

  Plantation removal to allow for restoration of chalk grassland.

 

3.

  Creation and management of breeding plots for stone-curlew.

4.

  Predator control, including erection of anti-predator electric fencing and shooting of foxes and crows.

 

5.

  Employment of a herdsman to allow restoration of grazing through the flexible movement of animals within areas of unfenced grassland.

 

6.

  Production of informative literature and display boards for use by all users of the MoD training area, military users, local community and members of the public.

 

7.

  Arranging of a series of events and workshops to promote greater appreciation of the wildlife and nature conservation of Salisbury Plain.

 

8.

  Ecological monitoring of the sites following management actions.
