| English Nature has recently published a new booklet, Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) - England's Special Wildlife and Geological Sites, which explains the effects of the Countryside and Rights of Way (CROW) Act and other issues and obligations affecting owners and managers of SSSIs. The booklet is part of a wider information pack available about SSSIs, covering several key issues in more detail, such as duties of public bodies and how to give notice of operations that may damage an SSSI.
