ReportsReports on the Dynamics and Sensitivity of Marine Features

These studies have been undertaken to collate our existing knowledge on the ecological requirements and sensitivity of nine marine features. These features are each important ecological or biodiversity components for one or more of the Habitat Directive interest features. The reports have been produced by appropriate specialists in the area are aimed at practitioners who are responsible for managing and monitoring these features.

Reports on the impacts of human activities on marine features

A series of seven studies has been produced collating the current knowledge on the impact of human activities on the features occurring on marine SACs in the UK.  The reports address broad areas of activity and impacts.  Each considers the potential for impacts, both positive and adverse, and provides suggested good practice for minimising harmful impacts where this exists.

Some of the maps and appendices have been omitted through the conversion of the files. These are available upon request from the address on the home page.
